Description
Samaná is presented as an Eden for those who appreciate nature and seek thrills in adventure. Here, you will find majestic green mountains, beautiful beaches, as well as charming picturesque towns that will allow you to immerse yourself in the local authenticity, exploring the rich traditional Dominican way of life and culture.
This experience in Samaná is a full day dedicated to discovering another of the amazing destinations that the Dominican Republic has in store for its visitors.
We will visit Salto del Limón where we will enjoy a serene ride, either on the back of a mule or a horse, through a lush tropical humid forest. During this journey, we will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the lush rural landscape, surrounded by dense vegetation of tropical crops.
The Limón Waterfall is made up of three falls through which the water slides down a solid wall of greenish hue, a result of the presence of numerous ferns and the high level of humidity characteristic of the region. The waterfall culminates in a natural pool fed by fresh, crystal-clear waters, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy a completely relaxing bath.
After approximately 40 minutes at the Waterfall, we returned to the Ranch and headed towards the Restaurant to enjoy an authentic Typical Dominican Lunch. Once the meal is over, we head to Cayo Levantado or Bacardi Island, where we can delight in its white sands and crystal-clear waters, or simply relax under the shade of its coconut trees. In addition, you will have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs of local crafts as a testimony of your visit. After 1 hour and 30 minutes, we headed towards Las Cañitas to continue our exploration.
