Description

Our private guided tour follows the path of Dominican history, from the ancient Tainos and Spanish conquistadors to the culture of today.

We start off at the home of Juan Ponce de Leon, the first Spanish conquistador. We will then explore a cave that the indigenous Taino people’s used as a shelter and holy place.

After a hike through the Jungle, we find the source of the legends of the fountain of youth, a rejuvenating cenote.

Now that we’re immortal, we must eat like the heros of old, Lobster, Grouper, Snapper, Brick oven pizza, whatever suits your fancy (Not incl).

We started the day on land, so its only right we finish by sea. We’ll cruise up the Yuma river, then out to sea, to view nature and end our day on the beach

Pregnant women, guests with mobility complications, and guests with movement disabilities are not recommended to take the tour.
A good rule of thumb is you need to be able to walk 30 min straight and up 2 flights of stairs unassisted to complete the entire tour
If you cannot do this, speak to your guide and we can reroute
