Samana : Parc national Los Haitises et Cayo Levantado
Voyagez à travers de magnifiques eaux tropicales et dégustez de délicieuses spécialités dominicaines au cours de ce magnifique circuit. Contemplez les œuvres d'art historiques du peuple indigène Taíno, qui se trouvent dans des grottes situées dans le magnifique parc national de Los Haitises.
Commencez par le port de Samana où vous prendrez un catamaran ou un bateau pour passer la baie de Samana. Arrivée au parc national de Los Haitises, visite des magnifiques îles rocheuses et découverte des interprétations des peintures indigènes taïno à la grotte de Linea.
Après avoir quitté l'ancienne grotte, prenez un bateau qui traverse les eaux magnifiques pour visiter une charmante plage et la grotte Cueva de la Larena. Terminez la visite de la grotte par un toast et reprenez le bateau pour Cayo Levantado.
À votre retour, dégustez un buffet dominicain traditionnel et détendez-vous à la plage de Cayo Levantado.
About Los Haitises
Covering an area stretching 1,600 km² (618 square miles), Los Haitises National Park is one of the crown jewels of the Dominican Republic’s national park system. Los Haitises–which translates into “hilly land” in the Taino language–attracts numerous visitors who come here by boat to see its magnificent series of 30-meter (98-foot) high rock formations jutting out of the water.
The park also boasts extensive mangroves along its bay, which is dotted with cayes that are home to multiple bird colonies, as well as a series of caves known for having one of the highest numbers of petroglyphs and pictographs in the country. You’ll easily spot the endangered Ridgway’s Hawk, the Hispaniolan Piculet, the Hispaniolan Woodpecker, and the Hispaniolan Emerald, as well as pelicans, frigate birds, herons, and many more majestic birds in flight over the park’s extensive landscape.

Tutto come descritto, esperienza da rifare sicuramente, la parte più interessante e stimolante é sicuramente la prima, la visita alle grotte con il parco. Personale e organizzazione perfetta, la guida parlava tre lingue, spagnolo, inglese e francese, super simpatico come anche il capitano e il suo aiutante ☺️ Punto in più per la bottiglia di rum Brugal a bordo. Me gustó mucho la zona de los haitises y las cuevas,el paisaje,las aves que se ven….el guía nos lo explicaba todo muy bien. El único punto negativo es sobre la hora de llegada,nos dijeron estar en el punto de encuentro a las 9 y la excursión no salia hasta las 9.45. Tuvimos que madrugar mucho y no pudimos desayunar en nuestro hotel por cumplir con las 9 y si llegamos a saber que valía con llegar a las 9.30 hubiera sido mejor.
