Description
Start the morning with a pickup from your hotel or specified location in Punta Cana. Head to the meeting point, where you will have time to buy coffee since there is a minimarket on site. Board the excursion transport and set off to Bayahibe.
As part of the Eastern National Park, it is an area with incomparable nature, where you can enjoy mangroves, coral reefs, and beaches like Palmilla, with incredible yellow sand and surrounded by arracacha palm trees.
Arrive at Saona Island, an idyllic place to spend the day. Walk through a natural pool in the Caribbean Sea since the water on Saona Island has no waves and only covers up to your knees. Enjoy a buffet lunch on the beach and take part in a variety of activities, including dancing, swimming, and snorkeling.
Rabby –
I loved it, they pick you up at the hotel in a van, you drive almost 2 hours to Bayahibe (with a stop at a souvenir shop) and there you take the catamaran to the island. It is approximately 1 hour and a half up the catamaran, where a party is set up with music from 2010, they give you rum and coke and everyone dances. You stop for 15 minutes to swim in the sea, which is turquoise, and then you arrive at the Island, where we stayed for 2 hours, they give you a buffet lunch (there were noodles, rice, chicken, chop, tomato salad, cucumber and cabbage, watermelon, mango and pineapple) and there is also rum and coke. To go to the bathroom they ask for a tip, on the catamaran they also ask for a tip and on the return boat the same. They offer you piña colada for 10 USD. I DID NOT LIKE that they take a lot of photographs of you and at the end of the activity they offer them to you digitally for 100 USD? It’s a theft. One photo for 10 USD and 5 for 50 USD. After the activity is over, you will be taken by speedboat to Bayahibe and back to the hotel
