Abarca una superficie de unos 1.600 km2, que forma parte de un vasto sistema kárstico creado hace 50 millones de años, y comprende un rico mosaico de ecosistemas marinos y terrestres: estuarios, ensenadas, bahÃas, cayos y mogotes -las curiosas formaciones rocosas en forma de cono que caracterizan el paisaje de la zona-, asà como dolinas, manglares, etc. Es decir, un inmenso parque repleto de atractivos naturales donde vivir aventuras únicas.
